Gothic was one of the worst games I played, I couldn't get hooked on it. Some titles out there I haven't even tryed, but the reason might be 'couse I didn't like their description or screenshots. Gothic is still like my favorite game and Risen maybe tends to take that place. That would be for single player games. As for MMO I'd have to agree as well... Few years ago I started to play Lineage II and it had great influence on my social life. That's why I had to stop but the game was just perfect. But I was maybe lucky to meet some great people ingame and that's what made it so great. I dunno but I'd say it's one of my favorites. I would have to agree with you on some of the games.
