More money / parents that actually loved them
It’s now 2009 and there’s no real reason NOT to own as many consoles as you can. I mean, you owe it to the many developers out there, making the most of one single console.
The PS3 has Uncharted I & II, MGS4, LBP, Killzone 2, Resistance, inFamous, Ratchet and Clank series, Playstation HOME and many more games that certainly makes it a console worth having.
Microsoft’s XBOX 360 has the Gears of War games, Fable II, Forza III, Left 4 Dead, the Grand Theft Auto 4 expansions; many timed exclusive DLC’s like Fallout 3, Modern Warfare 2 etc…
The Nintendo Wii hasn’t really performed well lately, but with the promise of more Mario and Zelda games, Red Steel 2, MADWORLD, Monster Hunter 3, along with classic franchises like Metroid, Kid Icarus and the recently announced Epic Mickey game from Disney.
The testicles to admit that their console might not be the best ever
Do I really have to elaborate on this one? It seems like after many years of the current console war – people should eventually suck it up and admit that other consoles are good, too. I know that it’s never going to happen, but I can at least dream, can’t I? Idiots have been around forever and I really don’t think they are going anywhere. Unless the Internet becomes less anonymous or at least rigid rules of conduct being enforced.
An actual choice
This might seem kind of cryptic, and feel free to chalk it down to my own subjective opinion (that’s what I’m here for, after all) but doesn’t it feel like if you are going to buy a console – you end up buying the same console that all of your friends have? Yeah, multiplayer is good and all, but if you end up not being able to experience unique games that other consoles have to offer, it’s abit of a shame isn’t it?
A decent PC
That’s right, I went there. FPS games will always be superior on PC. Beware of pirates, though.

HEY! you dont have to remind me all the time that i dont own any console, and never had any console my whole life! you treat me badly
on the other hand tho, it proves that i dont need a console and do well what i want to do on a PC with my E-sports =)
